Planned Giving
Each year, school families and friends are invited to give financially to allow us to meet our annual operating expenses, as well as help with building fund needs and to provide for important current opportunities. Mountaineer Fund donations are given “above and beyond” tuition. These gifts are provided by the entire school family: parents, grandparents, current students, faculty and staff, alumni, alumni family members, businesses, and other friends of the school.

There are many ways to maximize charitable contributions to Zion Christian School through planned giving. These opportunities include:
- Gifts of stock or real estate
- Gifts from your IRA
- Gifts in a Will
- Gifts that pay you income
We have partnered with the Barnabas Foundation to assist our donors with their planned giving decisions. As part of our membership with Barnabas, Zion supporters are given free access to Barnabas attorneys to discuss their planned giving. At no cost or obligation to the donor, this is a service that has been taken advantage of by more than 11,000 individuals and families over the course of the past 35 years.
